Biography

Francois Giguere is a Cerified Financial Planner™ practitioner. Francois joined A&I Financial Services in 2014 after spending 20 years as an executive in the National Hockey League with the Colorado Avalanche, Dallas Stars, Boston Bruins, and Quebec Nordiques. He served as the General Manager of the Colorado Avalanche from 2006 to 2009.

Francois earned his Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting License and Law Certificate from Laval University in Quebec Canada. He practiced in an accounting firm, Ernst and Young, as a chartered accountant for five years. He successfully passed the Certified Financial Planner® certification examination in July 2014. Francois is a member of the Financial Planning Association. He holds a FINRA Series 7 and 66.

Born and raised in Quebec City, Canada, Francois has lived in the United States since 1995. He is bilingual being raised in a French Canadian culture. He and his family became United States citizens in 2002. Francois is married to his wife, Brigitte, and has a daughter and a son Frederique and Philippe. Francois is an avid sports fan and participant. He plays tennis and golf and also enjoys cycling and skiing.
